How to Calculate the Gate Scores?

In this formula

M is the marks secured in the GATE examination. 

Mq is the passing mark for the general category candidate. 

Mp is the mean of marks of the top 0.1% or top 10 (Whichever is larger) of the candidate who has appeared for the GATE examination. 

Sq = 350 is the score assigned to Mq.

St = 900 is the score assigned to Mp.
