Gate 2022 Examination Pattern
Examination pattern for gate paper is conducted every year by one of the Indian Institutes of Technology that is present in our country. There are no major changes that are introduced in the examination pattern; only two new disciplines are introduced to the GATE examination this year; the candidates can check the examination pattern in the below-given points.
- The examination mode for the GATE examination is online, it is a computer-based test.
- The total duration provided to the candidates is 3 hours.
- There are two sections in the examination that includes general aptitude and candidate selected subject.
- The type of questions asked in the GATE entrance examination is multiple-choice questions, multiple select questions, and numerical answer type questions.
- The design of questions is analysis and synthesis, comprehension, recall, and application of the number of questions present in the GATE examination.
- Total 10 questions from general aptitude and 55 questions from the selected subject of a candidate mean the candidate gets a total of 65 questions out of a total of hundred marks in the GATE entrance examination.
- All the questions asked in this paper are of one or two marks.
