About IIT JEE exam
The IIT JEE exam is a highly competitive examination that is held annually in India. It is offered to students who have scored high grades in their Class 12 board exams. The exam is divided into two parts: the Main Examination and the Advanced Supplementary Examination. The Main Examination consists of two papers: Mathematics and Logic. The Advanced Supplementary Examination has three papers: Mathematics, Physics, and Chemistry.
What is minimum marks required for JEE mains?
For the JEE Main Examination, the minimum marks required are 180 in Mathematics and 60 in Physics. However, there are many candidates who score much higher than this. Some students even score over 300 in both subjects. It is important to know that you don’t need to score a certain number of marks to get admission into a good engineering college. In fact, many prestigious institutes accept candidates who have scored below the required marks. Instead, it is essential to possess the right qualities and skills.
How to Crack IIT JEE Exam!
If you are hoping to gain admission into one of India’s most esteemed engineering colleges, the Indian Institute of Technology (IIT), then cracking the IIT JEE exam is a must. Despite being one of the most challenging tests in India, with a cut-off score of 630/800, there are certain strategies that can help you achieve success. Here are some tips on how to crack the IIT JEE exam:
1. Learn as much as you can. The better prepared you are, the easier it will be to tackle the questions on the IIT JEE exam. Make use of online resources and textbooks to improve your knowledge of mathematics, science, and engineering topics.
2. Practice, practice, practice. The more times you attempt the IIT JEE exam questions, the better your odds of success. Try different methods and strategies until you find what works best for you.
3. Be comfortable with ambiguity. The IIT JEE exam is designed to test your problem-solving skills rather than your knowledge of specific topics. As such, there will be occasions when you don’t know exactly what to do in a particular situation.

Frequently asked questions-
Q1.Who is eligible for JEE Advanced 2022?
Candidates who have been admitted to a preparatory course in any of the IITs for the first time in 2021 can appear in JEE (Advanced) 2022. Candidates in Delhi, Madhya Pradesh, Rajasthan and Andhra Pradesh are also eligible. / Candidates admitted to preparatory courses in any of the IITs for the first time starting from 2021 can appear in JEE (Advanced) 2022.
Q2.Do we need 75 in PCM for IIT?
If you are looking to apply for admission into a college or university, you will need to meet the admissions requirements of that institution. For undergraduate programs, the most important requirement is the aggregate cut-off score. This score is determined by adding up all of the individual scores from your subject tests and calculating the total. The cutoff score for JEE Main and Advanced admission is 75%, so if you score lower than this, you will not be eligible to apply. In addition, all other subjects required for admission into a university are also measured using an aggregate cut-off score. Therefore, if you want to apply to a college or university that requires a different subject than the ones you scored well in on your high school diploma, make sure to add that subject to your list of required exams when preparing for your JEE Main and Advanced exams.
Q3.How many questions we should attempt in JEE Advanced?
It is recommended to attempt the questions on your mock exam under a realistic estimate of how hard it will be for you to score 300. For example, if I scored 200 out of 360 in my previous mock exams, then I should not try more than 240 questions on this exam. This number is based on my performance and the difficulty level of the questions on the mock exam. It is important to remember that your performance on the actual exam may be different than on the mock exam, so don’t be discouraged if you don’t score as high as you did on the mock exam.
Q4.How many students qualify JEE Advanced every year?
Thousands of people in India appear for the examinations every year, but less than half qualify for the advanced examination. Out of the 5000 new entrants each year to IITs, only 10,000 candidates will be successful on their first attempt; and around 15,000 more will get to do a second attempt. This means that only around 3000 candidates will be able to join the IITs each year. The qualifications for the advanced examination are very high. Candidates must have scored at least 97% in the Joint Entrance Examination (JEE)-Main 2018 and must have an overall cumulative score of 54% in the JEE-Advanced 2018. Only around 1500 candidates out of the 5000 who take the JEE-Advanced every year will be successful. This suggests that there is a lot of competition among students to get into IITs.
Q5.How much rank is required in JEE advance for admission in IIT
For getting good seats in any institute of choice, a JEE score must be around 200 or 210. The lowest marks possible are around 150-160 (Normal), but you will have to take the General stream because there are only 11,000 seats for students in all the IITs.
